The Challenge is ON!!!

Oke doke everybody by now you all know how to eat for health and performance.  So here is how this challenge is going to go.  The Paleo Challenge will officially start on Monday the 13, 2012 and will end Friday, September 14, 2012.  Just a hair over 30 days.  What will be required from all Paleo Challengers is this:

1) 3 before pictures.  You can either take these here at the gym with either Susie or I taking your picture, or you can take them in the privacy of your own home.  When you take your pictures we need a front, side and back view.  Please also make sure to take these dressed in swimwear if at all possible, these are to compare before and after body compositions and we can’t do that too well with a t-shirt and shorts on.  Make sure you take these and send them to us for challenge record keeping.

2) Weigh yourself.  This is the only time I will ask you to ever weigh yourself.  The reason being is so that we can compare your lifts to body weight.

3) We will take three measurements.  One around your right upper arm, one around your waist at bellybutton height, and one around your right thigh (middle).  You can take other measurements for your own records, but these are the only ones required for the Challenge.

4) Since everybody nowadays has a cell phone, I would like you all to keep a picture food log.  This should make it easier than writing everything down, just snap a picture of it before you eat it.  This will hopefully help keep you accountable for yourself and make you think before you eat something.  If you do not have access to a picture phone or camera, or would just rather write out a food log, be my guest.  Either way, I would like to review these logs with you each week.  Let’s plan on every Friday when you come in.

So that’s it guys.  I hope you all stick with this and see some amazing results over the next 30ish days.  Speaking from my own personal record, I know it may be hard at first to stick with, especially with family, friends, and your carb-addicted brain constantly telling you to stop.  But stick with it and reap the benefits.
