Least Favorite WOD: Kalsu. I always get competitive and try to follow Jeremy (this never goes well)

What made you join the CrossFit Worthy Community: Worthy was the first place I found that let me be who I am. Lifters, runners, people who don’t consider themselves athletes, and everyone in between get to all workout together. We all have different backgrounds and hobbies, but everyone is here to get a little bit better.
Goals for Worthy Career: Help community members discover an “I can do that” life, and help service members minimize injury and maximize performance on the job.
Hobbies outside of Worthy: Trail running, riding my motorcycle, shooting at the range, watching my niece grow up, mentoring students exploring their faith.
Started CrossFit in: 2012

Favorite WOD: Anything rounds for time
Least Favorite WOD: Anything with rowing or AMRAP
Favorite Movement: Squats, double-unders (when I’m not whipping myself), power cleans, any sprinting
Least Favorite Movement: Snatch
What made you join the CrossFit Worthy Community: I was looking for a place to develop relationships and my fitness goals.
Goals for Worthy Career: To be busy enough to be at Worthy full time. Have a well developed program that teaches and empowers members to move well!
Hobbies outside of Worthy? Photography, painting, baking and hiking just to name a few.
Started CrossFit in: 2015

-B.S. in Biomedical Sciences
-Minor in Psychology
-Working on Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
First CrossFit WOD: No clue, but I do remember my first group class had snatches and I knew right away we wouldn’t get along for a long time.
Favorite WOD: Southie
Least Favorite WOD: Batwings, that dang bike sprint kills me.
Favorite Movement: Squats and cleans, it’s a close call between the two.
Least Favorite Movement: Handstand Push-ups
What made you join the CrossFit Worthy Community: I was interested in started CrossFit during undergrad and this was the closest place. Once I started I immediately felt so comfortable and welcomed, this community has helped me in so many ways and it really is like one big family.
Goals for Worthy Career: To help as many people as I can to become a healthier version of themself and to show people anyone can do CrossFit.
Hobbies outside of Worthy: Hanging out with my dog, reading and anything outside.

Favorite WOD: “Jones Bones” (AMRAP 12: 10 T2B – 10 S2O – 200M RUN)
Least Favorite WOD: KALSU (100 Thrusters for time, 3 burpees at the top of every minute)
Favorite Movement: Power Clean
Least Favorite Movement: Thrusters (…but I know they are good for me…lol).
What made you join the CrossFit Worthy Community: I wanted to meet like minded people when I moved to Mount Pleasant and train like an “athlete” again after 5 years of being a retired collegiate swimmer.
Goals for Worthy Career: Turn my passion for coaching into a career.
